Belgium Rental Market Survey

Short research survey (1–2 minutes) about finding rental housing in Belgium. Your answers will help us understand pre-market sharing of rental opportunities.

Which best describes your current situation?

Have you ever heard about a rental property through a friend, neighbour, colleague, WhatsApp group, Facebook group, or another personal connection?

Which city or area in Belgium is most relevant to you?

If yes, did you hear about the property before it was publicly advertised on websites such as Immoweb?

Have you ever helped someone find housing by telling them about a property that was becoming available?

If you knew that a rental property was becoming available soon, would you be willing to share that information with someone looking for housing?

What would make you hesitate to share such information?

I don’t want too many people contacting me Privacy concerns I don’t want to deal with strangers The landlord might not approve I don’t want responsibility for recommending someone Nothing would stop me Other

Do you currently know of an apartment, room, or house in Belgium that may become available for rent within the next 3 months?

What do you think about the idea of a community where people can share information about homes that may become available before they appear on major property websites?

Would you be interested in participating in a small test of this idea?

Would you like us to contact you?
